Embrace the Absurdity of Life
Absurdnost is a unique bottle of vodka that celebrates the absurdity of life. Inspired by French philosopher Albert Camus and his thoughts on the meaninglessness of life, Absurdnost represents the conflict between the absence of inherent meaning and the need to build our own reasons to hold on to life.
Created as a response to Vladislav Khodasevich’s poem “Before the Mirror,” where he appears to go through a middle-life crisis, wondering where time has gone and what kind of person he has become. Camus came to the conclusion that despite the absence of inherent meaning in life, one must build its own reasons to hold on to life. Absurdnost is an abstract and experimental packaging design that features unique typography where the bottle design is a visual translation of the conflict between these ideas, encapsulating the tension between the need to create meaning and the realization that life may ultimately be meaningless.
